Subject: Why does firefight always crash in the last round?

It seems like firefight has a tendency to crash always in the last round or set. This is torture. I always play with a good connection and I always play with people near me like east coast. I don't get why it just suddenly decides it wont work right at the end. :(

When I was getting my endure achievement (few monthes ago) It lagged about 3/4 of the way there but eventually it went away.

It's probably just your connection, I have a great one and it never crahses on me.

Try to find players that have good connections and live in the same country as you, make sure your NAT is open, exit any and all parties or private chats before playing, and install ODST to your hard drive.

All of these help to reduce your chances of crashing.

He speaks the truth. I got the achievement last night with people who were all located on the same local network, and there was no lag whatsoever (our NATs were moderate, but I think it worked out because we were all moderate.)

I think the reason Firefight tends to crash late in the match as opposed to early is that the game has more and more to handle as additional skulls get added, and the strain will bring out any underlying connection problems that might exist.
