Subject: What does Achronos stand for?

"I pledge to punch all switches, to never shoot where I could use grenades, to admit the existence of no level except Total Carnage, to never use caps lock as my "run" key, and to never, ever, leave a single BoB alive."

2B || !2B - Why don't you look Inside the Machine?

Is it the webmaster last name? or a nick name? It is confusing me...please answer.

No, his last name is Gioconda. I don't think Achronos "stands" for anything, it seems to be more of an alias, although it probably has something to do with time since it has "chronos" in it.

Jolly Roger is the pirate symbol, a skull and crossed bones.

interesting...maybe one day we all will figure it out...until then we must eat all the pizza we can obtain and drink all the Mt. Dew we can so when we find out we all have a heart attack and die...and the secret once again goes to the grave.

If it has to do with Chronos, or time, that means that Achronos would mean "Without time". I guess that's a start though.

And I believe it means "without time" or "no time",

Deja Vu, huh? Achronos must have some kind of time shifting powers...

As a Moderator, you should know that you can shift time too. Just in a lesser context, you see, you can execute members with the Ninjas, shifting their join date back to the year of 0001.

I have an explanation for everything.

Hey guys whats a Girth?
Girth: Classified
it on everyones profile. Did they mean Birth?

Girth=width, breadth, etc. Standard definition (in tailor's terms) is the circumference around the waist.

On the Halo 2 LE disc, Achronos's bio says that the name doesn't really mean anything.

But of course that's just a way to lead us off the track.

Well, Chronos was the father of the Greek Gods and I think the "Father of Time" or Father Time, so could that have something to do with it?

And as off topic as it was in Zanzibar, there was a post on my birthday (which is how I remembered it) asking this same thing. He answered that one much as Reiginko just said, claiming it to have been a more or less random selection.

Names are rarely chosen with randomness in mind. But, maybe it sounded cool at the time.

Asymmetrical = without symmetry.
Achronos = without time = he who is not bound by time.

He is a diety who exists outside of the boundaries of time and space. There you go.

Hey, I'm not arguing that, I'm just reporting what I saw him post on the subject.
