I agree with you 100%, Halo 2 is the godfather for todays home console online era. They need to bring it back. Why would they get rid of the game that started it all for the home console online community, it just doesnt make sense. PLEASE BRING IT BACK!!!

The best sniper, pilot, shotgunner, support gunner and rusher you can find!

I got Halo 2 April 10th, 2010. I played online right after it got taken off LIVE. Now I can't play Halo 2 with friends. What a dissapointment. The funny thing was about a week or 2 after Halo 2 got taken off LIVE, I went to a friends house and he was playing Halo 2 online for the PC.. I was mad....

So... Halo 2 went down the same day the Titanic did? Interesting...

I like driving a warthog, but im even better at piloting a falcon,im horrible at driving tanks though, but im pretty handy with the revanant.Im a huge team player, because i'll protect every single one of my team mates on the field, and im great with short range weapons.I wont mind traveling to the middle of the battlefield to leave a drop shield for my squad to heal up.But dont get me wrong,I prefer working alone, and if given the option, stealth is primaryMy gamertag is Pongo Hunter ~Fury~

global warming isn't proven and won't be - it's more of a political play for funding for "research"

So being the top played xbox original live game from the day it was released to the day they shut the servers down, means nothing?

Obviously didn't play in the golden days of Halo 2,, mid 2005 to late 2007. Halo 2 was the best multiplayer experience of the entire halo trilogy...

2 years of golden days of a video game,, that's pretty rare. Shows how awesome it really was. I am still one of the few loyal Halo 2 fans who still play online to this day via XBC. Still isen't the same as H2 matchmaking though :(

Easter Egg Hunter. Apprentice Tricker/Glitcher (learning from Grumpy and Sliding Ghost).

Trying to get Waypoint to update Halo 3 stats in detail like here. Now no one can see that my Halo 3 Spartan no longer looks like my Reach Spartan.

Really want to be a Heroic member or have a title. :/

There is no logical reason to shut it down. It's just another crummy decision by Microsoft.

Nay, It was heresy!

Black Ops 2 I run two accounts warmup only at 1.97kdr...real is at 3.77. i'm in master division 4 league play. pm 4 clan inv...must have 2.5 kdr or better

My pc doesn't have promiscuous mode so no XBC for me. It's ok, because I prefer Halo 3, but still want to come back from time to time :(

i1i chaos i1i

god i miss halo 2, i came on bungie.net to check my old stats. they arent even here. i hate this. halo 2 was more than a game for me its a whole chapter of my life where very important things happen and i would just really love to relive those awesome intense 24 tv/24 xbox/ 24 people halo 2 lan parties i used to have. or go try as hard as i could to get above level 33 in team slayer without standbys. i miss never getting bored of playing lock out over and over and over again. i miss 1-50 ranks. i miss bungies level of awareness of the fans and there involvement in everything xbl. halos torch will never be passed. 343 is already proving that they dont know what halo is by putting halo/cod 4 out. i want to be able to guess where someone is around the corner simply because they move the same speed as me(sprinting isnt halo). i could rant endlessly. i hope other halo 2 fans read this and agree. i just want someone to tell me that im not an idiot and that games have been on a decline since the end of halo 3s era. and that a 100% the same version of halo 2 needs to be released. nothing changes other than maybe some graphics/glitch fixes, also all original maps included.
