I'm truly going to miss H2. This game was what made most of us into gamers. H2 is the founding father of xbox live and the savior of the Xbox. Without halo, Microsoft probably would have dropped the xbox all together and MLG may have never even existed Yet, Microsoft got lucky and Bungie published a game which would revolutionize competitive gaming. I'll miss the unique game play, I'll miss the glitches, I'll miss the clutch moments, and I will miss those garage lans with my friends back in high school. H3 is a good game but H2 has something that it doesn't. I remember watching MLG back in the H2 days and being on the edge of my seat while watching Shockwave quad-shot Walshy with no shield on P2 and hear the crowd go completely nuts. Sadly, Watching H3 MLG is almost boring. The crowd doesn't seem as focused on the match anymore. There were no dull moments in H2. At any second one quick BXR or one well placed double shot could turn the tide of a match. That is what binded people to it and made it so addicting. Everyone could contest that Halo 2 wasn't just another video game. It created a thriving community, completely reforged the video gaming industry, inspired millions, and brought with it friendships that all of us will carry on for years to come. I will really miss Halo 2 and everything that it brought with it
Wow this guy is so right! It was such an amazing game for all those reasons! It had something that Halo 3 and Reach just doesn't give, it was just an unbelieveable game and can't believe I can't play it anymore! I want to play it right now while I'm writing this!
Every day I wonder to myself if Bungie will re-release Halo 2 on 360 or do something so we can all play online multiplayer again cos I don't think any game will ever satisfy me after playing Halo 2 for so long!
Sad Times!
