Why does everyone hate Halo 2? Maybe its because its the worst game ever next to mario.

As a long devoted halo 2 player I have to chime in this life after death thread in here. Halo 2 to me is still THE game that got me into xbox. I'm almost 26 so I won't say it's the best game of all time I grew up with Mario Bros and Sonic and all the other classic consoles. Still this game was the ONLY reason I wanted to buy an xbox in the first place. The first time I played this I was hooked.
The maps and weapons were perfect and of course the online experience of killing people that would try to talk trash or just annoying players put icing on the cake. I finally decided to pick up halo 3 even though it's 4 years late and it's just not the same. Halo 3 is a good game in itself but it doesn't have that spark that Halo 2 did for me.
H2: every single map I had a fun time in. H3 all the maps are ridiculously huge and it's always the same maps chosen on the playlists. Plus you also have the option to vote for a different game that takes away the anticipation of having a suspenseful game. H2 was simply always chosen at random so you never knew what to expect.
It's the one game Microsoft should give all the credit to the world for keeping their Xbox alive. I don't even think the 360 would've been a success without Halo. Hell I know that for a fact because H2 was always the top selling game. So many great memories with this game from coming back and winning when your teammates leave to getting killamanjaros and killing combo medals. The ranking system itself got me so addicted. My buddy and I use to always play TS to get our ranks up. The different colored icons with the rank number just felt satisfying to try and raise it up. In H3 it's simply garbage. I don't even know why Team SWAT is ranked in that game that's a joke.
I would donate money if I could and I'm sure a LOT of players would donate a few bucks if Bungie would re-release this on 360 to make it playable online. The online experience and fun times will always be what made Halo special I never ever cared to play the campaign. Tea-bagging people and trash talking is the one thing that made it so special. You can still tea-bag in H3, but with the party limit timer there will never be those classics carnage reports were the players wait for everyone to leave and you just sit back listen to other players talk -blam!- to the other.
H2 will always hold a special place for me. Microsoft you can go to -blam!- hell and -blam!- six ways from sunday with the devil itself. That was a great read, but some paragraphs would help out a lot lol.
