I know, halo 3 was just, like, missing something, that one little sparkle of fun from halo 2.
i remember it so fondly:
I was at my friends house, and he said he had gotten an 'xbox'. he said he got a game for called halo. we started playing it, and we soon got addicted to it. everyday, we'd laugh, and we'd mash the right trigger every 2 seconds. it was heaven on a disc, in a box. an xbox. then, a few years later, halo 2 came. ever more awsome. we invited more of our friends, and we got too many roles for splitscreen. then came, xbox live. my friend got one, i got one, and my other friends got one, it was the best thing ever to play with other people through one screen. it was amazing, we made so many movies. though we recorded the tv with an old video camera, we were really proud of our work. but then, it happened. I MOVED. halo 3 came out at that time too, and all our subscriptions for xbl got cancled, so we renewed. the only thing was, we all changed our gamertags. halo 3 was always played by myself, and i for some reason found matchmaking bland without my friends. i havn't gotten contact with them since.. :(. but i still make movies in halo 2, this time with a capture card. i connect 2 xboxs, one for a camera man, and another for the actors. and in the films, they are all dedicating to the friends i miss dearly, and th eglory days of halo 2.
thank you bungie, you gave me something to do, something to look fowad too, to kick ass, through 5 modes. and you bungie, are truely excellent for the gift you have given us, and Halo 2, shall rest in piece.
So what do I miss, you ask? I miss, everything. Every single pixel, sound, and detail. And the game shall always remain in my heart as my favorite video game ever.
R.I.P HALO 2, The Most Kick-Ass Game Ever.
Wow. That was pretty sick.
