Subject: My first pay packet

I finally received my first pay packet today (£117.14 for four days' work) from my new job. Yes, I actually have a job. I am currently being paid £5.39 an hour to sit behind a counter all day, drinking tea and watching TV. I am working in a bookies.

As you can probably tell, I am enjoying this job. Seriously, if you want laid-back, this is the job for you. The staff are a laugh, as are the customers, and breaks are whenever you want them to be. And, of course, I'm earning more than Frankie ;-)

I thought it wasn't possible to get regular employment over here in the UK until you reach 16?

For a betting shop it's 18. I'll let you work it out.

With B.B. gone, the passion of Bungie.net has lessened.

Goweb gets paid more than me...

Ah well, can't complain, I guess.... I should get paid the minimum wage that I get for working in libraries and doing very, very, very easy stuff.

Thank you
