Live Fast, Die Fun

I don't know if anybody else feels as strongly as I do, but I bet some do.

I think Bungie should re-release Halo 2 as an Xbox 360 game with absolutely nothing different. I would buy it again. I love going back to Halo 2 a few times a year because it is my best memory of gaming ever. No game will ever match the good times experienced in Halo 2.

Shoot to kill.

As crazy as it sounds at first, I would definitely buy this for again for 360. If M$ thinks they can pull the plug here, it is our duty to have it re-released for the newer console.

I'd prefer it it if they just released the multiplayer with all the DLC on XBLA. I don't need to download campaign because campaign doesn't need Live.

R.I.P. Halo 2

Release it as an arcade game on XBL. Modify it so that it uses the Xbox 360 dashboard.

It seems like a no-brainer really. Yes, it may take a bit of work to get it online again in a slighlty different form, but Bungie, and the gaming media in general, is always praising this community for its loyalty and dedication, so why not give us all one great big Bungie hug in the form of Halo 2's resurrection. I'm sure I don't have to explain how well such an act of generosity would be repayed by the fans. We're the people who buy DLC on day one, the people who upload pictures and videos to share with each other and we're the people that keep Halo games at the top of the most played lists. The Halo community spawned Red vs Blue for crying out loud.

If you take a step back and look at us for what we are, whatever happens, we're the ones who keep playing Halo and keep supporting Bungie.
We're all tremendously grateful that Bungie made Halo 2 and that they supported it long after release. We just don't want to see that die.
