Bungie.net is the only website that has been able to hold my interest for such a long period of time, and I can only imagine there are still many years to come.

So this thread is about everyone's great stories and memories of playing Halo 2. I have one that I will never forget.

Before the stat reset and when they took down the leaderboards for Halo 2 I was playing a Big Team Battle with a good friend of mine. Though we weren't really there to "help" our team. We had made ourselves pink elites with, heart emblems and voice masking enabled. Once the game started we immediately started following one person around blocking his view, etc. until the point he started team killing us. We then proceeded to boot him. Essentially rinse and repeat until it was just us 2 remaining and one other guy. I know it sounds douchey, but you have to just mess around sometimes and we were in hysterical laughter the entire time and when you have voice masking on it makes it even greater.

Another story I have was just after the stats were reset and when they still had clans. Myself and 2 friends went in and were just wrecking people we hadn't had any losses or real challenge until we ran into a little clan called "F3AR". Not sure if anyone remembers them, but they were a very good MLG clan back in the day. We played CTF on Lockout and needless to say we got raped. Though I didn't care because we got raped in style.

Looking forward to reading other peoples stories.

I attended Lancaster University of Lols(LUL). I majored in Loltistics with a minor in Roflology. In my spare time I like gallivanting across the countryside arm-in-arm with my friends while singing Kumbaya with Hello Kitty tattoos on our foreheads.

Oh...and Reach is the worst Halo game thus far. GG, Bungie.

My first Killtacular on Ascension. Just bum rushed their entire team on the Banshee pad in Team Snipers.

I escaped into the waves. The waves...
I went Underground!

Spending hours trying to get the Scarab Gun different ways was extremely agrivating for me, but extremely awesome in the end when I finally got the guns.

And then there's also climbing the rooftops on Outskirts which was fun on Co-Op.

July 15, 2008... The day the timer stood still.

Me and a group of friends decided to go "Monking." Basically, we run at the other team and try talking to them (in Big Team Battle by the way). We wouldn't kill them or anything. We would just walk in a single file line and once we got to the other base, we would convince them not to shoot us. It was really fun. What's funny is that we had someone on our team who had a really bad connection and caused the other team to completely lag out... twice. I actually leveled up because of this, lol.

I did a lot of online filming. I made like a 15 minute video using a cast of like 6-9 people at any one point. It was crazy, irritating, and fun too. So many good times.

And of course, Big Team Battle in general.

Omg yes! I completely forgot about getting the Scarab gun, so many failed attempts. Though when I finally got it, it was totally worth it. Same with the soccer ball.

-blam!- Was that actually blammed out? Or did I just type it? You'll never know.

I only ever got to play Halo 2 online at a friends house, and it was always good times. My favourite thing was when I got an Overkill. After only playing split-screen against three other people, the highest I'd gotten was a Triple. Getting that Overkill was just awesome.

Also, if we're including campaign memories, the many, many, many, play-throughs of campaign on stormy weekends.

Games, friends, memories.

My fondest memory was all of the friends that I made on there and all of the endless hours we spent in customs.

I just remember when I got my first Headshot and it as on WaterWorks. Really long distance... I thought I was pro... but he was standing still really.

Getting out of the maps with friends in custom games. Getting out of the maps and exploring past their normal boundaries was good times. Oh and trying to get the golden warthog on Headlong, who could forget that?

Bungie.net is the place to be!

Amidst the snowfall, the cold does little to diminish his wishes to be free. The eagle is chained and has no way of breaking free. No matter how much he flies, he still is chained. The blizzards do nothing to break his determination and in his eyes, he will be freed, someday...

Bad habits are like chains that are too light to feel until they are too heavy to carry

Tower of Power. Amazing campaign. Superjumping. EVERY single game of Matchmaking. Even when I lost, I could still have fun. I had never encountered a single game where I felt terrible. In Halo 3, every time I lose, I feel unhappy.
