I make a legitimate thread on the most logical choice for the next Bond actor, and you take that away from me by creating a parody thread indirectly connecting my thread to yours.
I hope your kids have bad influences and develop bad personalities. I wish this with all my heart.
I understand that everybody is pissed at Micro$oft for shutting down Halo 2. I am too. We all know that at this point there's not much we can do to stop M$ from pulling the damn plug. Or is there?
But there's one issue that M$ forgot about.
There are still a decent amount of original Xbox games being sold new. Many of those have online play. And you know what? It says so right on the back of the box. Xbox Live enabled.
And once those servers go offline, the words on the box won't reveal this dramatic change in value. It will still say "Xbox Live Enabled."
And that's false advertising.
Sure, there's not many people that still buy original Xbox games, but they exist. Not many, but enough to put together a lawsuit.
It's an easy story. Buy a game that advertises XBL support. Bring it home. Try it out. Discover you can't haz XBL. Try to return it. Get laughed at. Sue the living **** out of Micro$oft.
Now, in this situation, what do you think M$ would do? Plug the servers back in, or make a total recall on every original Xbox game that advertises XBL support, and if they wish to keep making profits off of people who still buy these classics, reprint them with revised box art?
Have hope, my fellow community members.
