I would like to see Microsoft release a downloadable Xbox 360 version of Halo 2.
It would contain achievements for Xbox 360, and a working MM system that runs on "360 Matchmaking", not the original Xbox Network. It could come in 2 versions, one being a standalone version costing $20-$30, and a "disk required" version which costs $5 and doesn't start without a H2 disk. Since Microsoft is a business, this would make it money. A lot of people have Halo 2 and a Xbox 360, and while $5 isn't much, that many people buying it adds up. And, people who don't have H2 have a chance to experience it for the first time. I know Bungie is busy with Reach, so they could make 343 Industries work on the port (sort of like how Gearbox worked on the Halo 1 port to the PC). I'm no expert in game development, but I'm fairly sure this would be possible technically. It would please the Halo fanbase, and make Microsoft money, so I can't see a downside to working on it.
