Subject: Halo: Combat Evolved, the time has come for THE revival!

I am an avid gamer with a passion to keep games fun and strategy provoking, rather than simply button mashing instant-reward games that plague the market nowadays. I'm not kind, but I'm rational, fair, and maybe, just maybe, somewhat intelligent.

NOTE: As fanboy-ish, and stubborn this thread may sound, just hear me out on my plea.

As we all know, Xbox Live is shutting down the servers for all original Xbox titles. With many people who play these titles because they like them or do not have a Xbox 360 console, will seek an alternative to play their game.

These people will either give up on the game or will more than likely use Xbox Connect to play. With this, the chance of players figuring out that they can enjoy the original Halo title online will probably increase the Halo: Combat Evolved ever dwindling community.

Many of you may say that, "The game is X years old, just move on!"
Look at such popular games as Quake, Couter Strike, and Star Wars Battle Front 1&2. Although these games are aging and being shunned away by some, they still all have dedicated communities. Hell, Quake still has conventions to this very day. You see, good games never die.

What I am basically getting down to in this thread is that there are many things that I will list that will show that this is the time to dust out those old black boxes and bring out those old huge controllers. Here are some examples:
