I'm having some problems whenever I attempt to sign in to bungie.net with Internet Explorer. I hit the "Sign In" button, and the page just won't load anything. It took me about 10 attempts just to sign in. Is anyone else recieving these problems?

Oh, and I don't have dial-up, I have DSL, so I don't know why the page won't load anything.

Same here. I just loaded up Firefox and it worked. It's pretty much an IE-only problem as far as I know.

It has happened to me a lot today (only in IE). Just keep your browser open.

When I put bungie.net on my favorites list, my Internet Explorer actually stopped working! Tip : Get Firefox.

Let's see, Mozilla didn't work at first, then IE didn't work, then Opera didn't work, but it almost let me sign in. Then IE failed again, but I finally got in on the sixth or seventh try after switching back to Mozilla. Moral of the story: Get more Browsers.

Aha. I see your fatal mistake, Cappy - you never tried Safari.

I have used both IE and Fire Fox and encountered this problem. I just spent 30 mins(no exageration, it literally took me 27 mins, I timed it) trying to log in, just now, and it has happened before, though never this bad. I then took eveything that happened and emailed it to Bnet Bugs, this is a major problem. I even recieved this message instead on a log in screen once:

Error symbol The Microsoft Passport Network is unavailable from this site for one of the following reasons:
* This site may be experiencing a problem.
* The site may not be a member of the Passport Network.

Funny side note: I got pissed and emailed the bug to bnet bugs, then right after is when it lets me sign in, LOL.

Does b.net work with Firefox now?

It had, and may still, have problems scrolling.

I think it's a problem with Passport. The same thing was happening on the MSN site as well.

I noticed this, and this is what I did. Sit back, young minds, and I'll tell you a tale...

Fill in all the stuff in the login page, then press login. (No, this isn't a joke) It'll go to the white page, then just go back to Bungie.net. Click 'Sign In' up the top, and it should just reload the Bungie.net page with ye logged in.

Whoop. Now get away from me.

EDIT: By the way, I just realised that if you're posting here, you got around it, so my instructions are bunk. Never mind. :P

Yay for errors and confusing problems! It's been happening to me too, I just thought it was something wrong with my computer not bungie or net passport but this seems to make more sense. Now I know I'm not the only one.

People still use IE. *shudders*. Opera user for 6+ years. I think your problem is passport not IE as others have mentioned. You could try deleting your cookies and logging back in.

Woah woah, let's not get crazy and start using Safari now! ;)

But from experience, goweb is correct. Usually it doesn't take long for it to work again.

I never owned a Mac, I couldn't try Safari. But I do hear it's a good browser.

Urgh, its that bad that I gave in and just logged on with this instead. Fustrating though. I had to go to Hotmail though MSN, then come and login here.

I for some reason, can access msn.com without problem, so someting is not right.
