Steam: RageRunner32 | StarCraft II: RageRunner | Lets play Pc sometime :)

In the soon to be defunct Matchmaking list, I propose Bungie leave a dummy playlist option named something along the lines of "How to continue online play" with a side description providing a link of info for XBConnect. It's not asking for something bold requiring an update, like the game automatically connecting to the XBC network, but simply to provide a small sentence or link of information.

This way the close-knit Halo 2 community stays together in one network and enjoys a game they love. Asking for a final playlist update isn't really asking much.

Thoughts?

Quite a good idea. I don't know much about the XBC network, but it is gauranteed to work after live shuts off for it right?

This is the average H2 Fanboy.
Xfire: JacobGRocks.
50 in H2/H3? Great, but you still fail at this.

Yeah. It is a lan tunneler, so even Halo 1 xbox can be played online. Yes, Halo 1 xbox.

I don't exactly understand all this tech stuff, but I really love Halo 2 and would like to see it live on. So I'm pretty all for this idea and think it should be promoted.

hello i am nobel six lololololololol

"The enemy came. He was beaten. I am tired. Goodnight."

"I think Reach is a pretty cool guy. eh drives froklifts and doesn't afraid of anything."

That would be nice, but... how legal is it? I'm sure no one wants the feds kicking down our doors because we broke some contract we weren't aware existed.

XBConnect and other services like it are completely legal alternatives for online play.

It's the same as playing system link with someone next to you. It's not popular because of the lack of people and servers, but it could easily handle the now smaller Halo 2 playerbase.

This is actually the stupidest thing ever posted on B.net:

Why does everyone hate Halo 2? Maybe its because its the worst game ever next to mario.

Don't get too excited. XBConnect is nothing like Xbox Live or Matchmaking. It isn't even that enjoyable.
