Now, don't get me wrong, in posting these videos I don't want to agitate Bungie or MS, but rather show them that there is still active interest in creating Free extensions, mods, and maps in Halo Custom Edition.

Beginning of my real post:

I certainly Hope Bungie + Microsoft rethink releasing the source to Halo. or even the Source to the Halo PC Sapien, Guerrilla, and Tool. My arguments:

The Source code for Halo 1 has been overdue its release,
we all feel it should be released.

I also believe Halo 2 Vista's Source code should be released.

with source code being released, the community can work, with adding extensions
fixing the netcode, fixing mistakes that are never going to be fixed.
online co-op (sync ai, scripts, bsp switches)
make it like Halo 3 or better with graphical upgrades

make it better than the devs themselves.

maybe selling the source code, would be appropriate.

soon people will lose interest in this game, because with the resources available are just not enough, and the fact that updates break 3rd party programs.

If the source code was released, people can form a group,
and make their own modified game better than ever, with their own updates.

lets see what M$ will do with Halo Franchise, once Halo Reach has been released.

sawnose isn't the problem, it's a certain group of people who run the company "Microsoft"

The bungie.net community is the halo PC community that is renowned for being unbelieveably sucky.

Halo Custom Edition was Gearbox's project. I'm not sure Microsoft owns the rights, probably does, but not sure.

and you know this how?

seems M$ goes out of its way to ensure there is limited creativity for all it's games, no source code? wtf? they really are a super dumb company.

There is no more profit that can be made from Halo 1 PC, and Halo 2 Vista.

guess I'll take my custom to valve then, oh lol, I already did! loloool.
atleast when games are made from Source's SDK, I can download as many as I want. :D
