Why, hello there!

A while ago I was playing firefight with my friends when I noticed something with my controller. I would try to move forward, or push any other button besides RS and it would take 3-4 seconds for the ODST to respond, taking longer with each couple games. Does anybody know why and if so how this can be fixed?

You mean that you pushed some button, and it was taking a few seconds to take effect in the game, correct? Was the frame rate all hacked as well?

In any case, this sounds like lag to me. It may have to do with your and/or your friends' internet connection.

I respect your opinion, I'm probably just going to disagree with it.

Because of the way the host and ne-coding works in firefight and campaign games (even in Halo3) lag results in sluggish controller response more than characters skipping about the screen/being shot through walls etc. It's got a particular name, but I can't remember what it is I'm afraid.

It was perfectly normal, no lag at all(besides what can't be helped) but my controller was lagging.

I intend to live forever, or die trying,

so far, so good.

1. Restart your Xbox, and try again. Problem persist, try next steps.
2. Charge or change the batteries of your controller.
3. Try another controller.
4. Post back complaining that your still getting Controller LAG.

I try restarting and making sure controller battery is fully charged.

Still more lag. Thanks for helping, though.
