Warning, Potential Spoilers Ahead!

I have been re-reading Halo: First Strike, and I have found two potential references to the ilovebees mystery. First of all, on page 98, it states: "Lieutenant Wagner walked through the metal- and explosive detector gates and into the atrium entrance of the large, vaguely conical structure. Officially designated UNSC HighCom Facility B-6, the sprawling edifice had been nicknamed "the Hive." Once again, an obvious connection between hives and Halo appears. The second, and more intriguing quote comes from page 196. Cortana is studying a dissected Covenant AI's copying self-copying code. "This copying code was extremely convoluted; in fact, it took more than two thirds of the Covenant AI's processor-memory space. It was dark with functions that ran deep to the core. It spread dendritic fingers through the system, like a cancer that had metastasized throughout the AI's entire body." Those of us who have read the book know that Cortana uses the copying code to copy herself, and the copies eventually become fragmented and possibly considered "rampant." This only lends power to the surfacing theory that the person talking in the fragmented messages on the ilovebees site may be Cortana, or perhaps one of her copies. Whether this is just mere coincidence, or actually has something to do with ilovebees, I hope that you will reply and leave your thoughts. If i find any more references in the book, I will continue to post here.

I have thought that very same thing... But somehow i just dont believe its cortana. The fact that she keep's refering to an oni mission, and the crew. I mean these could both be the chief's mission, and the crew could be the spartans.....Wtf am i thinkin? This make perfect sense!!

I doubt it's Cortana because Bungie said she's not sending any more letters. Although it does all fit in place.
