As far as I know there are 4 teams; Red, Blue, Green, & Yellow.

Everyone is aware of the fact that clans are going to be a huge part of Halo 2...so my question is;

On team games, do you think you'll be restricted to Red, Blue, Green, & Yellow armor?

I think that would be stupid as hell. What I would prefer is, you set your teams colors (whatever you choose) and you pick what team color you are. Example, Grey/Orange armor for everyone on the green team.

Sounds kinda confusing, but i guess it could work.
Yeah it could work now that i think about it. I agree though that would be stupid to be stuck in yellow, red, etc. amour. I like your idea.

There is also a pink team.

I though Bungie already said you could set up your colors for Clan matches so teams can have their own designs and stuff.

My guess is the team chooses their primary color then the secondary color is chosen by each player.

i thought each individual player chose his own color but all clan members will display their clan logo.

I would be all red, so no problem. Red is the best color, and a straight Blood color, Piruuuu.

If you look at one of the first mp pics, you'll see a Green player with light blue details on the armor. I'll bet that's where YOUR individual color preference figures in (the detailing).

So if the teams did not have the same primary color it would be hard to tell who to kill quickly in a fire fight. Unless you want to take the time to look at there emblems.

I think you guys got it all wrong, you can pick any color you want for your design and then pick a clan. the clan leader has a clan logo on top of your player with your name. i read it in article.

...think you could find a link? I would but I'm not sure what picture you're talking about.

Found this one. Two tan guys with blue detail.

Also what the hell is up with this orange/blue elite? Everyone else is red & blue.

Also, Blue/Orange Elite & 2 red spartans

Exactly.

I think it would be stupid to just have everyone totally differernt looking, except for tiny little logos. If they did, you would have to rely solely on your friend indicator.

The logo over your head is your unique individual icon. If the whole clan had the same icon you would not be able to tell which team members were where. That was the point of the icon above your head to tell whow is who so it is different from the green triangle. Your name still only appears when you point your gun at them. Also there is no point to put your clan logo there only your team will see it. You want other clans to see your logo and fear you.

I believe the clan logos may appear somewhere on your body, but will mostly be displayed on your base, flag and scoring screen.

Yes that is an appropriate picture. If you look at some of the MP movies from OPA you will notice what seems to be some red and yellow spartans. The yellow is where the blue was in your link.
