If ODST had a firefight matchmaking system, it would be similar to Halo Wars' online multiplayer, because the games will be longer. If someone isn't willing to play a long firefight match, they shouldn't be playing.
If ODST had matchmaking playlists, they should include:
- vidmaster achievement playlists, for those who want Recon Armor. One playlist for its one (ODST) vidmaster challenge. If this were reality, finding players willing to take the challenge would be easier. There wouldn't be anymore requests on the Halo forums, and more people would get what they want. Not everyone who owns ODST has friends who own it too. Those ,who don't know anyone with ODST, have to request help from strangers off Halo 3's matchmaking, which sucks.
- searching for public lobbies. Like Left for Dead, people should be able to create a lobby, fix options, and make public to anyone searching for something to do. Options should include setting a max number of reinforcements, rounds, and sets so that people wouldn't have to wait until their lives go out, and time limits, if preferred. This kind of playlist would be good for those who just want to firefight for fun, and for those who wish to get the 200,000PAR achievements.
There's a bunch of fixing ODST needs, mainly to make it actually worth the 70 dollars people spent on it.
