A theme is a 'skin' to be used in a group site. You can choose from a varity of themes by following these steps:

1) hover over "Home"

2) Select "group Settings" (If you cannot see this, you may not have the power to do so with your current group rank)

3) scroll down a bit and you will see several names with option button (like myth, halo babies etc)

4) Select a theme you want.

5) Scroll down to the bottom of the menu and select "Save Changes"

-Hope that helps

A theme is the look and feel (color too) of an html page (i.e. The thing you are seeing this on) a theme represents the order and usage of color, position, and style of everything on the page (i.e. A group).

Usually people like to work with Adobe Photoshop (high version like 7). However, a few use Paintshop Pro. You should be able to buy these at most good computer stores.
