Then I realized that ODST is really boring, the concept not really new and refreshing like I expected. It feels a LITTLE different, but not much. It does look better visually though. The main reason I bought it was because I got a new 360 and didn't feel like downloading all the maps again. Otherwise I would have rented it just for the Reach beta and that's it.

Hello, welcome to a game that is more then an expansion, please enjoy the ride, and return the game to gamestop or keep it and play it until ODST comes out, and remeber, have a nice day.

There comes a time in every mans life... and that time is not now.

Yeah, im sorry, but there are more than enough threads about how disappointed people were with the game. As i have said before, complaining will not make the game better for you in any way, so either return it, or give it another chance. :D

I'm not going to return it cause like I said I need the maps and don't feel like downloading them again to my new 360. I still have like half the game to finish, and firefight is OK. I'll give it another chance. :P

Its funny, how people will mp up the same crap over and over again (H2, H3) and then when something different comes along, "different" is all of a sudden a bad thing.

I do not remember taking cover to save my skin in H2/3, only to recharge shields. I don't remember thinking *Oh SHI-* when my health was almost gone in H2/3.

H3 ODST > all.....except maybe Reach, but i've yet to play it, so for now ODST > H1/2/3

Sorry to say it, but for 60$ ODST sucked. I've got halo 1, halo 2, halo 2 mmp, and halo 3 but ODST was garbage compared to those games. Please don't come with the expansion excuse, if it is full priced I will judge it as a full priced game, and as a full priced game it was inadequate to say the least.

If you want proof, look at how much the ODST forum has died. Only a few months since its release...and people already have stopped giving a damn about it.

I was amazed for a few minutes..

...

and was continually amazed for the rest of the game, right through to the end.

I completely agree. To be fair, I thought ODST was a pretty awesome game, but the double standard many of the people have on this forum amazes me. As soon as I ever mention ODST costing too much, people attempt to "prove" it was a full game, but as soon as I mention the lack of content, or a thread is made comparing ODST to any other game such as Halo 3, those same people come back in and then claim it was just an expansion.

This hypocrisy is the very reason why no sensible debate can be made on ODST.

Another asinine belief is that sense I don't think ODST should have cost $60 I'm now cheap and not a fan of Halo. That is absolutely ridiculous, considering I own every Halo game and book, I even went and bought Halo Legends two days ago.

We bought games for the same price or more that had less content 4 years ago. Stop complaining about price.
