I will occasionally get a blurred part on my television screen in campaign and multiplayer. I use a VIZIO 22" HDTV if this matters. What is the cause of this blur and can I fix it?

When you say blur you mean things look fuzzy or does it look more like there is a burned in image in the screen?

Sometimes things look blurry because of the fact that the game is meant to be played in 480p not 1080p, check the back of the case to see what I mean.

If there is a burn in looking image that is caused by an emulator issue with the 360, the problem will fix itself if you finish a level, or hit a loading screen.

Yes, I would say more of a burned image. I know that Halo 2 is meant to be played at 480p, but why do the burned images only appear when my character looks at certain areas of the map and not others?

This happens when you play H2 on the Xbox 360.

Its an emulator issue with the xbox 360 that comes and goes throughout the game. There isn't much you can do about it either, just keep playing, it goes away when you hit a loading screen. If it gets really bad you can try restarting the game and that may fix it for awhile.

Dam, I miss the old days playing halo 2 with my old brothers in arms. Thank you my old friends for giving me this account, I shall continue our legacy.

A burned image appearing on your screen is normal when playing on a 360. You get used to it after a while and learn to ignore the burned image.

You are right but for me it's a killer. I like to do Campaign tricks to test the boundaries of the game. When I pull off a good trick and film it for YT with those shadows, I have to toss it so I only use the original box.

It sucks to find out it's an emulator issue. The H2 campaign, to me, is alot of fun. On the darker levels toward the end of the game, the burned image can be very distracting and cause visibility problems with finding enemies or map layout.
