Does anyone else agree so you can play it with other people if your friends are not on or dont feel like playing it it makes it boring if it dosent

The lag for ODST is atrocious, even when i'm playing with people from my own state. Matachmaking would have terrible lag, teammates who will eat up all the weapons and lives, people who will betray and there will be almost no teamwork due to randoms.

We Surround Them!

Why does everyone feel there needs to be matchmaking? Can all of you not find decent "friends" to team up with or are they all too busy playing other non-Bungie games?

I'm grateful for no MM in ODST because I don't want the idea of being tossed in with a random drunk who is on just to laugh at himself - the habitual betrayer who spends more time trying to kill his teammate that took his "shotty" than killing the guys coming after you - and the always popular teabag expert that spends more time teabagging his 4 or 5 kills than actually contributing to the game play and helping his team win.

It's why I rarely play Halo 3 MM any longer - because of all the immaturity and the 2nd accounters out to prove how much of a stud they are by trashing a Skill 5 in Lone Wolves after they maxed-out their primary account and can't find any more glory than to pick on some noobs or people who just are not that good.

If you want people to play with - go to the Optimatch Forum and post in the Classifieds that you need people for FireFight in Halo 3: ODST. Sure it's a bit of a hassle adding new people to your Friends List, but it's evident that you don't have many who play the game you want to play so perhaps those "friends" are worth keeping anyhow!

Firefight being based purely on friend invites is the only thing keeping every screaming little Livekiddie from having Recon.

Though sensfaninoh pretty much said all I wanted to.
