its all fun and games until someone gets hurt--Then its more fun and games!

For the last wave, save up a lot of heavy weapons, such as fuel rod guns and rockets. Stay back on the side of the central plaza where you spawn, and pick off the jet pack brutes while using your heavy weapons on the cheifetens.

Sorry: If you want endure, you have to be amazing.

Not to mention Lost Platoon is the better choice. Don't believe all those people saying you always lag out on Lost Platoon. Me and my friends were lagging like crazy and we got it.

When we finished, our clocks said we'd been playing for 3 hours, but the in-game clock said 2 hours and 15 min =)

My friends and I did a Lost Platoon run while on the same local network (but while on LIVE,) and it worked like a charm- first attempt. The chieftain waves are significantly more bearable when you can splatter. My tip? Play Lost Platoon. Also, don't quit until you get the achievement...

Pffft, no you don't. I've done it 4 times now. Just do it on Security Zone interior. It's a cake walk. I've done it with just me and a friend (with guests signed on and hidden in the spawning corridors. I did it just two nights ago with just 3 people. We had 14 lives left by the end of the 4th set.

You must be amazing then =D

Security Zone interior, two men to a side. Keep the missles and flame nades for the later rounds. It helps to have at least on person droping shields with plasma weapons. Keep the SMGs handy at the spawns for the drones flying about.

Lost platoon is the way to go. If i can play to set 18 and quit out with over 30 lives left by myself on legendary, then four of you should be able to get through set 4 on heroic. If not, give up and go home. LOL
