Subject: ODST Firefight: LAG Discussion

A couple of friends(3 of course, I'm not an idiot.) and I have been trying to get Endure for quite some time. One of the three friends already has the achievement and is willing to help me out almost any time that he is online. After our many attempts, we have come to the conclusion that this achievement is very easy if you have the right people and/or tactics. However, one of the attributes that makes this achievement almost impossible (despite the ease... ???)is the fact that the LAG monster is constantly lurking in the darkness, waiting for the perfect moment to bite. Like when you have your sniper sight on the weakened hunter's back, or when you've just picked up the SPNKr and scope in on the enraged gravity hammer brute thirty feet away. Even through all these tiresome attacks, the LAG monster perseveres and somehow manages to save up his(no offense to women, but the LAG monster is, in fact, a male.) energy 'till about halfway through the second set, and then, BAM! He strikes the eager gamers with the infamous "Connection Lost" attack. How so many people have survived past this dangerous part of the game, i don't know, but i am open to suggestions. In fact, that is what this is all about. Tell me anything you can think of, or know, that might help me avoid this problem, thanks.

Winner of the 2012 Lurker of the Year award.

I'm watching you.

Make sure that each player's connections are good. If you can play with people close to where you live, well that's even better. That's all I can really say.

Make sure nobody has an OPEN NAT connection. That kinda ruins the connection for all the other players who have a good connection.
