Is it just me or did Bungie make a huge deal out of ODST,
made tons of people pre-order it, only to find out it sucked and was not worth the money?

Indeed. I haven't had XBL for a long time, but I still come on her everyday.

I liked it, too. I'll admit - the game is a little low on the replayability side, but that shouldn't detract from the solidity of the game.

I find that playing with friends help keep things interesting. The only problem is finding people.

Well, if Bungie had their way with the pricing then it would have been $30-$40 instead of $60.

But I like it, good campaign, fun firefight, invitation to Reach Beta, Halo 3 Multiplayer, I liked it all

Bacon

People were stupid enough to not understand it was a expansion.

There were a lot of mixed reviews due to the amount of confusion that occurred with players expecting the experience of a full fledged game title. Ultimately, misinterpreted hype led to broken dreams and disappointed souls, regardless of the quality of the game. Both the story and Firefight mode were very interesting approaches by Bungie as well as the never before seen tactic from the developers to create a side project before the next full game release.

For me, I was provided with an emotional storytelling perspective from the Helljumpers that I've been thriving to learn about since Halo 2, an awesome new game mode, exclusive beta testing admission and three new multiplayer maps tossed into the salad. There's not much to be unappreciative about when you take those factors into consideration. I had a blast picking it up at midnight and enjoying the experience to the fullest.

I liked the game and thought the price was reasonable for what you got which was a full story, firefight, and all the Halo 3 maps.
