Yo poeple,

When i was playing online the other day, this person tk'ed so many times, then he attacked me, so i had to betray him that 1 time so i can carry on with my thing. And then i got BANNED! And i looked at the server details, and the tk'er was still on it! I was livid, absolutely disgraceful, they need to sort this out, i was so unbeleivably angry, MR MA5B, i know you've got something to say about this.

it looks like you may have lost count of others that you turned into roadkill. That is the most logical explaination for why the tker was still on when you were banned. My suggestion, don't retaliate next time. The hard part about this strategy is getting the other teammates to ignore him too.

If i made a sequel to my montage that was a lot longer, would bungie notice the kind of crap that tkers get away with?

You do realise that Gearbox are the people responsible for the development of Halo PC.

i suppose that means stop complaining to bungie and complain to gearbox. what next, gearbox tells us to complain to microsoft and microsoft tells us to complain to bungie?

Then you must have been on a private server if you were banned for only a single tk. Gumgie (until we figure out whether its Gearbox, Bungie, or Microsoft we need to be grousing to) servers don’t kick you with autoban for a single betrayal and a respectable admin would know better than to drop a one time offender and leave another, flagrant, tker in his midst (unless the tker is the admin *shivers*). The good thing about private servers is that they usually have a dedicated admin who can ban anybody. The problem with private servers is that they have a dedicated admin who can ban ANYBODY.

Were you swearing at him on open chat or something else that might have offended, warranting a censor? If you only KILLED him the one time but shot at him several then you might have had a Kamikaze. Any way you slice it, you must have cheesed someone or something off to warrant a ban.

Mr MA5B is right: when you retaliate, you only encourage them. Better to just live with them (I know, it sucks) or leave and find another, friendly server.

I also know that bungie gave gearbox bad netcode that was worse than what gearbox was going to use. And Randy Pitchford ( now working on brothers in arms ) also said how horrible bungie's level design was. ( completely true in most cases... ever heard of maps without bases? )

But really, team killing isn't a problem. On the other hand, a real big problem is bungie letting down all the pc fans. oh well.

oh yea, and no mods have answered my questions yet.

Yes, TKing is still a major problem. I went through about 11 different servers in 40 minutes and each one had at least 2 TKers, with an average of 4 players on each team. No, autobanning for one betrayal is a bad idea. What if Im pulling a hog up to my ally so he can hop in, but I accidentally kill him? A 3 betrayal autoban would be best. Basically, TK 3 times and you're gone. It just ticks me off thatthe developers never listen to us that much...

hmmm...I don't think bungie or gearbox, or microsoft or whoever it may concern, is really gonna care about Halo anymore...

tk is out of hand and as my clan's admin and clan's leader(no one else wants to spend the whole day listening to whining recruits and jerks who tk so they throw it on me)i feel it is my duty to say that we must learn to live with them though. they are a fact of gaming just as cheaters and modders are. the more we wine or listen to them the more purposefully they do it and if you activate the banning console on your game and host you can mod the autoban to however many tks you want. plus you can ban people who the autoban cant ban if you need help with this pm me. dont make pointless topics that will get you blacklisted

TKers will be a part of the gaming experience. Hate em or deal with em, they'll still be there. Much as they suck, very little can be done to stop them.

If you're fed up with a TKer, leave the game. It doesn't have to be a Bungie-hosted game to be a good one.

I've found, in all this time here around these forums, that people who complain are usually more annoying than the people they complain about.

I ABSOLUTELY agree. Either restrain yourself from stooping to his level, or leave. Once the TKer sees that you've left and that his attention-getting strategy has failed, he'll stop. And if you've quit, you won't have to stick around to figure out if he's stopped or not.

I've had folks switch teams just som they can tk me. Your best bet is to find a server where the admin or someone with rcon is present, or one where everyone plays nice.
