Was not even an insult, do I need to set an example of what an insult is? Your continued whining show your lack of maturity. So hence "grow up".

"I said "By your scenario", did that not hint that I understood your hypothetical scenario? Of course, tell me the values you are trying to teach me."

The rest of your post was questionable, especially when you went on to say I admitted things.

"The values of harboring grudges for months?"

No, the value of standing up when a wrong has been done, and not saying, "Well, since it's been X amount of time we should just get over it."

So because the maps of a previous game were included, you feel wrong? Even if they didn't have the maps, which was revealed AFTER Microsoft announced ODST's price to begin with,ODST would have been $60. You feel wronged by getting previously owned content...for free?

"The values of insulting others,"

You do that one plenty on your own.

Not on a scale like you.

Also, why did you not respond to my correction of your misquoting of Brian? Just curious.

Bungie would disagree with you, they wanted it at $40, so if THEY feel as if it should be cheaper, then you hold little credibility saying otherwise.

They wanted $40, Microsoft makes the final decision as they are the ones selling the game to begin with. Can you tell me what they legitimately can do that wouldn't cause trouble for them?

"Not on a scale like you."

Proof? I see you insult others quite a bit.

I'm dropping this point, it's off-topic.

Not really, they are quite the same in actuality. Therefore you really should consider your thoughts with more time. With that, I cease to waste the even small fraction of my energy typing to your lack of intellect. You bought it so you spent it already, old money now.

Create content that we didn't already own, I explained this already.

I highly doubt they had the time to do so without delaying the game causing more rage from petty fanboys and Halo haters.

"I'm dropping this point, it's off-topic."

Or do you just know that you're wrong? I guess it really doesn't make a difference.

No, I still believe what I said, it just doesn't fit the topic.

Not when you have as small of a team as they did, which is why I came up with a solution to that in about half a second, pull a larger team together.

It sure as hell beats shipping something we already own. Especially when they weren't doing anything with ODST the two months before its release.

So were you inside Bungie Studios actually watching them do nothing? Maybe they did things behind the scenes not involved with the actual game, like making sure the networking was working.

Leave me alone, you're interrupting my slow crawl towards infinity.

How come we can reply to this but he is blacklisted

I believe it was Mr. Staten himself in a vidoc that revealed this information.

He said he wouldn't know what they would do differently in the game's development, not do anything. If he could, he would probably play more ODST. I probably would too.

Would you grow up? This topic needs to get back on track ASAP.

Although there's no need for name calling, you should be more concise when insulting someone, the act of growing up implies acting more mature, however, when looked at literally, the elderly tend to shorten when becomming older, thus making this weak insult not very effective at hurting my feelings.
You can't bring up anything where you feel insulted without rendering your point moot.

With that out of the way, as someone said earlier: Don't kill the messenger. It's pointless to blame marketing decisions at the developer, because marketing decisions are in the hands of the publisher and whoever holds the rights to the franchise. Both of those are Microsoft. Microsoft put on the package, "Exclusive access to the Halo: Reach Beta".

Also, before you blame Bungie for Microsoft's Xbox Live decision to send out Reach Beta codes for Halo 2 players, remember about the Friends and Family Beta for Halo 3? That was exclusive access for friends and family of Bungie and Microsoft. At the same time, they said the only way was to get Crackdown. It boosted Crackdown's sales because it was access to the new Halo game early.

Halo is a juggernaut, and it's slowly stopping. Just enjoy it while it's still doing well. Don't live in the past, but forge into the future!

That still doesn't excuse Bungie for not making the product worth the $60 price, which I believe they were perfectly capable of, which is why I partially blame them for this mess.
Really? That doesn't explain it?

***it’s not who you are underneath, but what you do that defines you***

I like it how bungie still hasnt commented on this because Im pretty sure this deserves a litle bit of attention. This frustrated me because of the $60 I wasted when I thought I was getting maps required for halo 3. i have numerous people who also agree with me from this website http://www.thehalocouncil.com

Duracell.
I don't keep going and going and going and...
but i Start, and just don't Stop.

So what if the saxophone is black?
it has better tone the the gold one.
damn straight i play Jazz.

persoanally i liked ODST alot. the game itself would have come across as 'worth it' to everybody if it had come out a little bit earlier. it was a time filler that even bungie didn't anticipate the $60 price point. however, microsoft looks at if they thought they could still get that money. they thought they could, so they priced it higher.

Halo belongs to Microsoft, not Bungie.

THIS is where it all went wrong.

I'm not bad, I'm Useless

Kinda worked in my favor. I got 3 months free a week before my live was suppose to run out. I also got my 400 point code today and got RE5 dlc that came out not to long ago. As for my code for Reach, I will give it to a pal of mine so I don't have to go over to his house to share the ODST disc because he doesn't own ODST. Thanks Microsoft your the bestest :P

I didn't get the key to beta in my message, although I already have odst, but how did Microsoft know that?
