Such good times.

I'm 23, I have a house, dog, girlfriend, job and I have no interest in any fanboyism so if you're thinking about sending me a childish PM, don't be surprised when I don't call back.

Towa o Powa was great, also Zombies back when you had to manually change team.

Zombies on Headlong.. start with only a few humans and around 10 zombies, just the visibility of how huge the map was and 5 Spartans hiding in a corner and you can see a bunch of zombies running at you from soo far away

oh and modding custom games on elongation containment and relic

Yeah, it was great, but just go look at my other post (How to play h2 after the end) if you want to continue the memories.

I remember:
Tower of Power. Great.
Modded games on almost every map, tons of fun.
Getting angry about getting modders in every single matchmaking game.
Zombies, WAY better than H3's zombies, you play it on the map with the 4 bases and the middle had a bunker w/ a sword in it. (WTF WHY DON'T I REMEMBER THE NAME!!!)
Troy, I LOVED getting kills with the bruteshot at the start, and just how war-like it was.
Superjumping.
Finding glitches
Getting the Scarab Gun on Metropolis.
tricking kids into believing in the golden warthog.

But does anyone remember the REAL old days, you should remember best if you have a brother you played Halo 1 with.

Halo 1 campaign was SO fun with two people, trying to get the banshee on ASOTC b4 the elite could.
And splitscreen tournaments 2v2 on sidewinder.

They thought they were funny; however, they didn't know they were talking to a peanut farmer from Georgia who knows the value of a peanut.

OMG this!!!
I loved pulling pranks on people on XBL. Here is one of the pranks that I liked to pull on people with my clan.

My favorite memories from when Halo 2 was pretty active was the Zombie custom games and the team slayer matchmaking.

"El honk"
BLARGH

Ah, I remember the times...

Being the last person in a zombies game, getting a killimanjaro then finally getting killed

Joining games and just doing glitches and super jumps

When you had 20 friends online, each person would be playing Halo 2. Most of them doing custom games with a bunch of people, there was always something to do...

On the rare occurence a person on your friends list wasn't playing Halo 2, you'd laughed at them

Having a modder on your friends list and joining their crazy custom games

Tremors, Cat N Mouse, 16 player Tower of Power, Zombies, the KoTH on Midship with 16 people with random weapon spawns...

Oh, when people actually played custom games, I hope Reach has a custom game search feature

When getting above lvl 25 in anything was hard, at least for me

Ranked Big Team Battle, even if it wasn't permanent

BxR, butterfly jumping, the big body glitch on Burial Mounds

The Noob Combo

1v1

Long nights of playing with your friends on BTB or w/e your favorite was

Getting Containment in matchmaking and thinking "I swear to god if I see a flying warthog..."

I'm gonna miss Halo 2!

Funny moments in campaign

"Are you still alive, Arbiter?"

Me: *Lying in a pool of purple blood*

"We're keeping pace as best we can!"

Even better, LANing with 4 Xbox's and 16 people in the Halo 1 days.

Fan-Fiction: The Human-Covenant War, Without The Great Schism. Story of how the war would have been if The Great Schism never happened.

There is always XBC :).
