So i didnt really know where to post this so i decided to post it here. Anyway ive been playign halo 2 online for8 months now and i havent cheated once. But my problem is recently, for some reason me and my cousin, who i play with online, have been getting some bad lag and goin into blue scree, and occasionally lagging out. Now even though this hurts our levels, even worse is the minute we go into blue screen the opposition starts callign us standbyers, even they are beating us by liek 20 points they call us standbyers and leave us cheatign feedback. I personally think this is unfair and that our oppents just use our laggd blue screen as an excuse of why were owning them. Anyway should i be worried about getting banned i mean its obvious were not cheating in our games, but were still getting bad feedback, is there anything i can do, i mean we even try explaining to the other team but they never care, please help?
ok, in answer to your question, NO, you will not get in trouble if someone gives you cheating feedback when they have no PROOF! bungie will look into your account and SEE if you have been cheating, once they realize you haven't been cheating they will just shake their heads at time wasted on another false alarm. If you're constantly going into blue screen, make sure your computer is turned off and that you're not downloading anything to make your connection weaker, also make sure you have highspeed internet and a GOOD ISP (internet service provider) if you have a bad connection to some of the game hosts it will occasionally go to blue screen. also, make sure no one on your team is doing standby (any of your friends in your party for example). if you have not been standbying there should be nothing to worry about. as for going to blue screen all the time, sounds like an internet connection problem to me.
