Ok so I recently got this game, and after playing a few missions I noticed you couldn't dual wield. In halo 2 and 3, SMG's, Plasma Rifles, Needlers (in H2), Spikers, Brute Shotty, and Pistols were generally only good if you dual wielded them, which was't very good either because you cannot melee or throw grenades. In ODST, since you can't dual wield, the weapons appear to be balanced better.

So, am I the only one that is happy that you can't dual wield?

Good players work together...and no matter how good you are, you're not physic. - blade6321

I am. I think the reason ODST appealed to a lot of people was because it went back to its' roots with the Halo 1 playing style (pistol/Assault rifle)

well i think its good and bad, like if you can dual wield a gun it would be domination in firefight,on the other hand its bad 'cause if u cant duel wield, you would get get stomped on because you would not have enough fire power. so i dunno
