By the power of truth, I, while living, have conquered the universe.

Hey guys,

Remember that age old fan fiction I wrote called Honour of a Heretic? Most of you won't but in it I had a villain named the Prophet of Candor who was going to become the central villain in the sequel.

I drew this about a year ago and really wanted to get it onto Bungie.net... Only a few weeks ago did it hit me I had a webcam so I could get a snapshot of it... Yeah, I failed.

Prophet of Candor

Feel free to comment, keep in mind this was drawn over a year ago and my skills at drawing have increased hundredfold since.

THE REBIRTH OF A TITAN

Truth gazed into the unseeing eyes of the hollow husk that was suspended before him, taking in every fine detail he'd personally designed to make the San 'Shyuum race strong again.

It had been years since the Prophet of Candor was declared lost, Candor had lead an entire legion of Unngoy into battle against the humans on the planet colony Jericho VII - all had gone well until the human Cerberus had shown up, three Demons who had joined together to halt the Covenant's divine journey.
But the battle had been won; the great Valkaries of the sky had cleansed the colony into glass - however at the cost of Candor who gave the order in his final hour.

"Noble Hierarch," came the disgruntled voice of a Jiralhanae Captain. "This one has passed the stage of Purgatory, the casket is pure."

Truth acknowledged what the Captain had said, now all the players were in their places and the plan could take full action. With a look of hunger in his eyes, the Prophet of Truth waved his hand to the Captain, signalling for him to open the casket.

The casket was a large cylinder-shaped pod, hundreds of wires and tubes were connected to the sides and the interior was filled with a strange lime green liquid. The occupant of the pod was the Prophet of Candor.

*

Candor's appearance had been altered drastically, his body scarred and seared from the cleansing beam's holy fire which had split the frail skin open - no longer. Cybernetic implants had been added to cover the wounds, providing crucial support for the San 'Shyuum's bodily functions.
His eyes looked as if they'd melded into the flesh of his face, no longer capable of binocular sight; Candor had a "third" eye on his forehead with optical fibres connected to his brain - allowing sight which was also facilitated by his vision which could switch between normal sight to a thermal vision.
A respirator had been added to both sides of Candor's face, jutting out from the lower part of the San 'Shyuum's long neck to his cheeks - where the flesh had been split open was fully visible.

One arm had become completely prosthetic, as had both of his legs - the latter being Truth's idea on how to strengthen the San 'Shyuum to become much more agile.

*

The pod let out a low hiss, the green liquid slowly being pumped out. Truth looked in awe as the eye on Candor's forehead shone a bright blue colour and began rotating speedily, looking from Truth to the Jiralhanae Captain who was in shock.

The door of the pod opened and Candor stumbled out, falling to his knees as he regurgitated some of the liquid from within him. Candor's primal instincts took control, confusion, annoyance, rage! He launched himself at the Jiralhanae, raising his prosthetic fist and sending it straight into the Captain's gut. Fresh blood spilled on the floor as the chamber was now filled with the screams of the dying Captain, his lungs punctured from the blow.

Truth smiled in admiration, tilting his head to examine the way Candor moved - how he longed to be free from the Gravity Throne he was confined to.
Candor shifted his gaze to Truth, memories flooding back into his head, remembering who he was, raising his mechanical hand before his eyes and letting out a roar of defiance.

The whole of High Charity stood silent as they observed this on every view-screen around the holy city; they all fell to their knees as they had witnessed the rebirth of a titan. Truth's voice pierced the minds of the gatherers.

"There are those who said this day would never come... What have they to say now?"

Wow, you weren't lying when you said you could draw! Excellent. I'd do something like this for my fan fictions...but I'm not very artistic.

Good job!

Haha, you were slightly unconvinced when I first told you, eh Wolvers? Thanks for that. ;)

I could do some drawing for your fan fictions, when I have the time.
