Subject: Do You Like Halo 3 ODST?

You don't have the authority, Sir.

I Think Halo 3 ODST is a Great Game! I wonder why people are disappointed, I thought the game was great!

I think most people were disappointed because there wasn't any Matchmaking and you didn't get to see Master Chief, but i don't really care about Matchmaking or seeing Master Chief *YET* So why does everyone else?

Why do you Like or not Like Halo 3 ODST?

The game had a solid story and firefight was amazing. It even got some of my cod buddies to pick up the controller. So overall i think that's a win right there.

hated it I sold it after the first week. But I kept the map packs.

Dr. Angelo, PhD.

I dug it.

It showed a side of the Halo Universe you don't really see, which is everyone else that isn't out saving the Galaxy directly.

Well I like it and don't like it. I like it because of FireFight and I dont like it because of the campaign. The only reason why I don't like campaign is because its so boring to me. Other than that everything else in fine.

Combating Armour Abilities:
Armour Lock: Walk away.
Active Camo: Run away.
Drop Shield: Wait or throw a grenade inside.
Evade: Pray to science.
Jet Pack: Shoot up.
Sprint: Shoot

Halo ODST was a refreshing break from playing a SPARTAN and really gave the series a revamp. The music is awesome (Neon Nights), night vision is such a cool addition, Sadie's story adds a lot if you listen to them all, the campaign uses a really neat plot device to tell the story, and firefight is fantastic.
The campaign was a little short, the red screen flaring when your stress was low, and the Dare & Buck thing was a little campy.

I search tirelessly for the secrets of the one known as the webmaster and for ling-ling's head.

I liked ODST it was great; despite the brevity of the story line I thought campaign was good as well as the firefight even though some people won't stop complaining about the limited live features of it.

Simple Plan for ever! Yes I'm a emo and I don't care what you say. I love all my friends and my guitars! Emo4life! <3

ODST is the game I play when I have just watched a scary movie or things like NCIS or CSI. The dark background of mombassa streets really gives me a cool and focused mood, during night time fighting

Bring Back Blood Gulch
This is my original acc, but I changed my GT email, so its not linked to this acc anymore.

ODST was short, but refreshing to the Halo series, much more of a mellow and dark tone to the series.

I respect your opinion, I'm probably just going to disagree with it.

I think that it certainly had flaws - I think Microshaft did a bit of a fail on pricing it in the same way to full release games, but I think the darker tone and mood, more character driven story with a fragmented/exploratory approach was much more interesting that the linear storytelling of the other Halos.

The ending felt a bit... empty though.

Vrrin Vrrin, yeah here I come.

the only thing ODST needed was a matchmaking firefight. or at least the OPTION for matchmaking firefight. still only 4 players, but have the ability to find other online ODST players. none of my friends play that game, and i love it!

I hunt for the Prophet of Contentment, the San 'Shyumm that murdered my son, and stole his birthright, his Energy Sword. They call our species Heretics. They claim to all that our tongues sting, our words a vile poison that feeds on the unworthy. I have seen the true face of Heresy. The head of a gallant warrior lay on the ground. His neck scorched and blistered, scarred by his own blade. I shall retrieve the weapon, and drive it through that bastard's heart! Punishment for his sins is nigh.

Just like every other Halo Campaign. I play it a few times, get bored. Then only play it every 6 months or so. In terms of firefight I'm up to play any time I have friends that feel like it.

@ Jericho: Matchmaking Firefight would be great, if one player quitting wouldn't end the game. Keep in mind that in Horde games, at least 1 player usually quits after the first 2 waves.

if your bored of the night time city levels, pretend your a crazed civilian who has decided to take matters into his own hands, so he goes about the city during the pouring rain storm, and murders covenant who dare walk alone. i did that once, and it was actually REALLY fun!

I'm one with the warrior inside. The evidence can't be denied. The entire world will stare. Into this battlefield tonight. As I stand before you with a warrior's heart now. I can feel the strength that will Ensure my victory this time

I thought it was a great game.

yeah, but it would be cool if bungie didnt end the game when people quit, just like in REAL matchmaking. it keeps going despite the loss of troops.

I really liked the game, the campaign IS short, but it did show a side not many people see and for once you don't have to play as the BIG hero and know you're going to win in the end. ODST showed the more human side of things rather than this whole Covenant/Human/Flood FFA. Characters are cool, firefight is awesome despite matchmaking but you can make friends and play. Overall this game was solid to me.

i just love odst campaign and firefight the only thing i hate is that it has the same multiplayer as halo 3 but it did include three new great maps and hereitic is the best map out of all of the 3 maps

  • 03.12.2010 4:08 PM PDT

i thought it was great its just mostly alot of the people didnt understand all of the campaign cause everyone i know says that they dont get it or doesnt see what the point in campaign is. but i loved the game i just hated having to explain campaign to much.

  • 03.12.2010 4:14 PM PDT

I loved it and I still play it with friends.
