Subject: I Don't Understand This Logic

People saying:

"Man I'm going to play Halo 2 as much as I can because it's ending in a month"

"Damn, that last week I'm going to play Halo 2 every minute"

"The last day, I'm going to play Halo 2 right up until it ends"

So you're planning to make yourself extremely sad when that day comes. If you play less and less of it when it comes to that day, you won't be as disappointed than if you are having so much fun, than it's instantly cut off.

That's just fixing yourself to become extremely depressed when that day roles around.

The logic is that you can get as much enjoyment out of it as you can before it's gone. I don't think that's so hard to understand.

So you build yourself up for an even bigger fall?

Depends upon your point of view. You might say you want to play it now so you won't kick yourself later for not playing to the end. It's a personal choice.

I see what you are saying, I guess for some that haven't been on in awhile. Personally I've been playing it a lot, so I'm different than those people.

been playing non stop, will keep playing non stop until the last minute! :p

I won't be sad when the last minute rolls around, it will be the ending to something great and in a few more days there will be a start of something even greater!
