First of all. Halo 2 is the biggest thing to hit the Xbox, so we know that Microsoft will advertise the hell out of it because they know their going to make a crap load of money off it. The only advertisement for it really is that trailer that started all this. No commercials, magazine add, nothing. And I bet you that a month or so before it comes out, NOVEMBER 9th, we wont be able to watch anything without HAlo 2 commercials. Secondly, To ship the game to all the retailers it would take days and maybe weeks to first off, make enough games to sell to everyone, and then they'd have to ship it all, which could take several days and weeks for that, and the 24th is 24 days away only 3 weeks, not a lot of time. Plus all the retailers would have make a preorder on how many games they want, and they would have had to have (whoah) already done that, and someone in some store would say the news that they did do that. Another thing is that I saw an episod of Pulse on g4techtv that said on Aug 24 that there would be a single player demo with the OXM Holiday Preview. Also it would be stupid to release the game this early. It wouldnt be as fun as if it was released in Nov (they could add a whole new level to the multiplayer in that time, or a whole new gametype. Nov is the beggining of the Holiday season and old uncles and parents that know nothing of ilovebees and Aug 24 are going to be buying little jonny his christmas gift of this new game that EB games has posters advertisising it becuse it is a new game and a huge game, so they will buy that game because its new and well advertised, whereas if it was 2 months old it wouldn't be as special. THere are hundreds of more reasons why Halo 2 is coming out Nov 9, but i simply have wasted enough time with this lenghty article and i wont indulge in anythign else. ANy skeptics of what I have just wrote should consider this question. Why in the hell would Bungie, Microsoft, and every on else say the Halo 2 is coming out is coming out Nov 9 and then actually put it on the shelves in Aug 24th when the non-hardcore gamers, that know nothing of ilovebees yet still want to buy Halo, aren't expecting it to come out. It doesn;t make any sense. Sorry for making you read all this but i am bored and a little frustrated.

Probabilty of Halo 2 coming out on Aug 24th, the same probability as Captain Keyes being in Halo 2.

they will probably announce to the public on Aug 10th that halo2 will be released early. 2 weeks before the possible release on Aug 24th. that is plenty of warning time for non-hardcore gamers to find out about it. 2 weeks of advertising is enough for the whole world to find out about it. also the ilovebees site talks about the medium metastasizing or whatever on Aug 10th. Probably what will happen is the ilovebees site will go back to normal because it wont be needed with all the commercials on tv says halo2 is being released Aug 24.
