Did you know that if you face the opposite way that the 'Hog is going, while in the turret, you can get out and will be ejected in kind of a 50X50ft arc? Me and my friend's do it in CTF. While I'm driving toward the base, turret guy jump's out and lands in the base, grabbing the flag. I swing around back and and pick him up then high tail it home. If you can catch the other team off guard, you can get in and out without firing a round. It doesn't always work if an opposing team member goes to the middle to intercept you with a rocket, but many a CTF game have been won by my team like this. Did anyone else figure this out?

Yeah. Say you were going straight at red base, the gunner faces in the opposite direction of red base. He then gets out, but it is like he is trying to get out on top of the driver's head. The gunner starts to slide backward, but hits the turret (not killing or injuring him) launching him into the air. The warthog has to be constantly moving on a stright line *emphasis* straight line.

So wait he's vaulted out not just like steps out but flys out? Too bad none of my freinds live nearby so I've never been able to play MP. Still I think I heard them talking about having another Halo Party (they didn't invite me to the first one, then one of them walked up and told me about it on Monday).

Me and my friend found this out in co-op. On AotCR, he got out while shooting at the covie tank (the first one you meet in the level). It shot a projectile that hit and killed me but he saw it comming and got out before it hit. That's how we found this out.

Escape will make me God.

Yeah, this is a relatively old trick. I only discovered it about a year ago. Even then it's only practical in certain situations. It's definitely a great trick for getting into and out of the base in BG. I really think it's an even better maneuver during assault CTF matches. I managed to pull this trick off in a Danger Canyon Assault CTF to 5 match. There was a rocket hog camped on the other bases flag and we were having a hard time getting close enough to the flag to cap. One time I launched myself right out of our hog and landed in front of the parked hog near the enemy's flag. We got a cap from that. To top it off, it's damn near impossible to shoot someone flying throuh the air in Halo PC when they're doing this trick. They just constantly warp around. Classic stylin', for sure.
