Subject: Am I the only one?

I have been hanging around the Reach forums, and have noticed how many people hated the ODST Campaign, but I on the other hand found ODST to be the best Halo campaign I've ever played.Did anyone else enjoy it?

I'm 23, I have a house, dog, girlfriend, job and I have no interest in any fanboyism so if you're thinking about sending me a childish PM, don't be surprised when I don't call back.

It was good but it was nowhere near the best.

yes i enjoyed it but for me it just didn't have epic feel to as the other halo games campaigns. oh and for me a big let down to play and finish it in 4 hours on normal and even less on legendary with 3 others.

I'd just like to point out that it was the best that I PLAYED (I haven't played CE).

I thought it was excellent. I hated how convoluted the Halo story got during 2+3.

I'd rather play through a simple story of a squad of soldiers during 24 hours of hell.

Spartans are just Astronauts with overpowered weapons.

I also enjoyed it. It was kickass!. Bungie did a great work making Halo 3:ODST.

Agreed.

Loved all Halo Games since Combat Evolved, mostly play Social Slayer, favorite map is Valhalla, favorite weapons are BR, Plasma Grenades and Melee.
Also play MW2, L4D series Half life series, FEAR & Project Origin, Farcry series, non FPS favs include Batman Arkam Ayslem, GTA series. Wishlist includes REACH obviously! BFBC2, Borderlands, Alan Wake

currently playing through on heroic and loving it! takes little while for things to pick up, just finished Kizingo Boulevard. The first few levels seemed little lacking in Covenant, think Bungie struggled here to balance exploration and the typical firefights of past Halo's. Yet as game progresses there are more enemies, still not as many as previous H games but when you consider the way it plays due to Health system and the fact that each chapter can take repeated attempts I think any more Covenant would be too much. In short really like this game, story is compelling, game play fun and challenging without being frustrating on negative side character models are sometime woeful! like wtf worst than Combat evolved, plus started campaign twice on splitscreen but gave up due to earlier levels being to dark to play in local coop, but when u consider all the other positive aspects such as great draw distance and the Theater mode I thank Bungie for great game and look forward to reach with sweaty palms he he

Anyone reading this owes me a keyboard.

I rather liked the first game also. There were a few minor cons such as the darkness during co-op and there weren't as much covenant as I would have liked, however these are minor so I enjoyed the game to it's fullest extent.

I enjoyed it. Not the best out of the bunch though.

Unofficial Thread Killer/Combo-breaker.

It was a good campaign, but was (for reasons understandable) shorter than required to make it a huge fan favorite. I personally enjoyed it for what it was: a short campaign and a fun multiplayer to kick back with some friends and relax from matchmaking. That and the new maps were a nice bonus.

Blasphemy!!!!!1!!
But in all seriousness you really should sit down and play CE. I know most places sell it for ten bucks. It was my favorite Halo campaign. But I agree that ODST is a fun campaign. It doesn't get the praise it deserves, strictly in my opinion mind you.

I enjoyed the campaign very much even though it was a bit on the short side.

Out of Halo 3 and ODST, I loved ODST's campaign. The one-liners keep me entertained.

The first cutscene was the most epic cutscene I have ever seen.

This is right.

OP: in my opinion because this was so short it is in no way one of the best campaigns in Halo. Halo 2 is still the best to me

I liked it, but I didn't think that it was the best campaign in the Halo series.

Sent the map 11/27. Hope it all goes well.

To me, ODST was a good campaign because it answered a big question to me since Halo 2: What just happened to New Mombasa!

The obvious answer never cut it for me. I'm glad they answered this question.

Was it the best? No. But was the challenge there? On some levels yes. It had a good feel of Halo 1 when I knew the longer I am in a fight, the more likely I'll die from getting shot.

It should've been longer, but it was a short event. It's good enough for me.
