Well, I remember my older brother picking up the original Xbox on November 15, 2001 (the launch date of the Xbox). With that console, he brought back two controllers, Fuzion Frenzy, and Halo: Combat Evolved. And if I remember correctly, my older brother was 13, and I was 6. Sadly, when he finally came home I was asleep, so he already played a bit of Fuzion Frenzy by himself.
When I woke up that day, he and I both decided to give this "game called Halo" a co-op campaign run, so we just played, and played, and played until we finally beat the game in one single day. Sure, we took a few piss breaks, eating breaks, and drinking breaks, but we just kept on playing and playing, and we never returned to the main menu that whole entire playthrough.
That "game called Halo" was possibly the greatest game he and I ever played together for a campaign run. We had a blast...
I hope you all liked my story of my first experience of Halo, and how old I was when I first played it.
