If you guys are going to bring the ToS hammer down on me - then at least be consistent and blacklist the people who violate not only the letter of the ToS, but the spirit of it.

I'm rubber, you're glue.
Your words bounce off of me and stick to you!

I'm not one for bashing mods/forum ninjas/etc...
I think most of them are for the most part cool - I'm also one that can appreciate smart <this is where a Blam! would be> comments -

But this is the biggest bunch of BULL BUTTER that I think I may have heard in a while. I really dont think the guy was doing anything but trying to repent... and fix what he had done. I dont sense any anger until his final post, which by now I can understand.

As far as the principal of the matter... I couldn't care less - I would give him back his sticky because he has worked hard for the community (sounds like, anyway), but hey - thats a decision thats not mine.

I just hope that not all of our mods/forum ninjas/etc. feel the same way about us as this dumb <enter yet another Blam!> comment displays.

Thanks for hearing me out - no hate, only luv.

I expect goweb restickied it as soon as he read this thread. He had a good reason too, I remember when SLD got blacklisted and his thread was totaly useless for a week.

I appreciate the support and whoever took care of this - I really do. I'll do my best from now on not to give any of you mods more trouble. Thanks again.

"I have no words that would do justice to the atrocities you commit to the English language, as well as your continued assaults on the concepts of basic literacy and logical reasoning."

I should point out that the proper procedure if you have an issue with a moderator is to take it up with the moderator, then Shishka or stosh (being the master ninjas), and then finally with me if you still don't have it resolved. You'll also generally find better results if you simply ask a question like "what happened here" rather than demanding for compensation or "explaining" some circumstance that excuses your action.

Posting on the forum about things like this generally devolve into misunderstandings because most of the time people are doing it just to flame the moderators. Even your thread that started off as the rare reasonable question devolved quickly into a Zanzibar-style -blam!- fest simply because it started off as being defensive of your own actions while immediately assuming that you were deliberately wronged (at least the way I read it, and I know I'm not alone).

Someone's intelligence is based on what they post about and how they post. In your case, the intelligence of that "caps" thread wasn't high.

The moderators did their job, in this case Nos.

Use common sense its not that hard. Do you think people actually care about caps on a gaming studio's website?

I would hope you can answer that question to the best of your abilities.

ok... I would consider this case closed and a dead issue - no need to start a flame here...

Ya'll have a good night now, ya hear?

I'm outlining that being a good member on a forum(s) is all about common sense.

And yes this thread is finished.

*Sgt

Well, I'm glad Achronos could explain things better *no offense to anybody*

And hey, lets not get into a *quote Achronos* "Zanzibar-style -blam!- fest" over some silly caps lock thread ^_^

Achronos,

I'm not trying to add fuel to any fire. I did attempt to take this up with Nosfateru_Soldie when I found I was blacklisted. When I found out about the thread, I wasn't sure how it happened - it could've been a mod, it could've been the 'soul' - that's why I brought it here. I apologize if it seemed that I was trying to rationalize what I did. I was just trying to point out that my crime was not a large enough atrocity, in my opinion, to nix my thread. I don't remember making any demands. I'm sorry I didn't do the best job of making this thread clear.

Josher,

Perhaps a better jab would've been this:

They say, aM Inspire, that sarcasm is the lowest for of wit.

And then I could only respond:

ouch.

Actually someone's intelligence can only be reasonably measured and assessed by controlled testing, not how they post on message boards. If this were not the case, then I'd be smart for the Stats Project thread and stupid for the Caps thread. And, if people don't care, then why am I recieving a lecture from you? I am fully aware that the use of common sense is not hard - but I'm discovering that perhaps the disuse of patronizing comments is rather difficult.

Right now, that is the best of my abilities.

If you knew this then why did you do something that you knew was wrong?

Sarcasm isn't a good enough of an excuse, and I've been wondering what drives idiotic nature.

Especially since the modders and standbyers can't come up with an excuse.

I've said this already - I was making a point that needed to be made. The mods hadn't made it, so I took it upon myself - and therein lies my mistake. But honestly, I suppose my better judgement was clouded by my anger over these guys coming in and starting unprovoked flames against reputable forum members. I didn't mean to use sarcasm as an excuse; excuse me for not being clear.

Ok guys, we have a response from Achronos explaining the bulk of this. Closing thread to stop any possible problems.
