November 9th, 2004 will be more than just the release date of the most anticipated game of all time. As that date draws near, chills will be felt up our spine, millions of goosebumps will form on our skin, hair will raise on the back of our necks, and tears will fall from our faces. This may seem too dramatic and emotional over a game, however, just as one member here states, "Halo is not just a game...it's a way of life." In fact, to many, the release of Halo 2 will be the cure to an incurable disease...the best thing since sliced bread...the birth of a new God...the single most important, happiest, and emotional day of his/her life...history in the making...or quite simply...the future of videogames. Whatever November 9th may signify, one thing is certain, Halo 2 will be a game of epic proportions and one that will be considered the greatest game of all time. It will be a day we will remember forever.
Here is what I will be doing to prepare for the release of Halo 2. I will be beating Halo two more times on Legendary ( once by myself and the other with a friend )...I'll be playing a lot of multiplayer and sharpening up my skills for Halo 2...listening to the Halo theme over and over and over again ( Truth and Reconciliation ) until Halo 2 finally releases...buying posters of Halo/Halo 2 to put up on my wall...buying the new set of Halo action figures for collection...posting and discussing topics about Halo 2...reading any and every new preview of the game...playing my old games as well because they will be picking up dust for a few years while I play Halo 2...and I'll be buying a new XBOX Live Starter Kit to create a new account because I dont want my 8 and 14 year old brothers to mess with my stats for Halo 2 or any upcoming XBOX Live game for that matter. Only 100 days left until perfection hits store shelves!
