To CrackCityRocker dude. I have a lot of respect for you.

I'll be in year 12 (im from australia, most likely different system) by november 9th so on the 9th i have 3 classes (50 minutes each) and on the 10th ill have only 1, so im not sure if ill go because i wouldnt be able to concentrate in class =D

im from australia too which would have a different system, im in year 9 and my final exams will be in 1 week or 2 so i cant let halo 2 wreck my grades as much as i would rather play halo 2. but if i do crap my parents will throw my xbox away. and i also live a while from leading retailers so i would need a lift down.

Yes it does {edit: replying to 'It's too bad for you people still in school}; also, I was planning on playing the demo (if there is one) on the day it comes out; but it comes out the day I go back to school...

I'm not sure if I will or not, I will probably stay in school, then get everything done when I get home, and then I will play Halo 2 all night long. And all over the weekends...

:D

I'm actually building my fall semester schedule around Halo 2's release date. I'm planning for math in the morning and then a huge gaping hole so I can buy Halo 2 and enjoy it thoroughly before i get back in for chemistry. The following night, I will probably end up not sleeping, due to some major Xbox Live action. Even though I'll feel like -blam!- and my mind will be distorted forever, it'll be the greatest weeknight of my life

I am planning on skipping the 10th and maybe the llth but that depends on how hard my programming, physics, and analysis classes are. Also, you dumbasses who think that halo comes before school are retarded. How the hell do you plan to get a good job or work at bungie without good grades.

How do we plan to work at bungie if we don't know what the Halo 2 experience is, oh by the way missing a day of school isn't going to kill me and make me retarted and not get a good job, I just want to have a good time

considering that Nov. 9th is bordering on crunch time for exams, I probably won't go psycho and skip a week. I'll probably have LAN parties the next few weekends and play after school on weekdays, plus Turkey break is like 2 weeks after Nov. 9th so I'm hoping for a 3-day halofest or something.

But as long as I can get mostly A's by then I should be able to convince my parents to let me skip a day. And not only am I in advanced math, try science and history too, as well as an extra programming course. One day won't matter at least to me, but it will to my parents.

Im gonna see what i can do to get out of school im in 10th. i only have 3 classes that day but each class is 95minutes long with a 30min lunchbreak, and 7min between each class. so it sorta sucks

Why not just go to school get your homework done and then get halo 2? why would you want double the homework the next day just because you skipped?

Dude i know if i didn't skip, all the stuff i learned in school i would not retain or remember, because i would be freakin staring at the clock all day waiting to get out, and thinking about what possibilities await me in my greatest gameing experience ever.
