Can't be too careful with your company. I can feel the devil walking next to me.
Tough Luck and Tilt means you made it pas the first set.
My tips:
1) Know the enemy. Knowing the best way to take down enemies will definitely make you better.
Grunts: Shoot for the head with headshot capable weapons.
Jackals: Depending on the type of jackal, but both end with headshot capable weapons. Shielded jackals should be Plasma Pistol overcharged, then shot in the head. Sniper jackals should be shot in the head ASAP.
Brute: Plasma Pistol overcharge followed by a headshot weapon works great. Chieftains should do the same, but rapidfire to the head from the headshot weapon.
Drone: Shot 'em with something fully automatic. The turret on a Warthog or an SMG will work wonders.
Hunter: Get up close with them. Dodge opposite of the way they swing and shoot for their special area. The headshot capable weapons are the Human Pistol, Carbine, and both snipers.
Vehicles can be taken down by an overcharged Plasma Pistol shot. Then shoot the driver or get up close and board it. Beware of turret passengers though, as you will want to kill them before getting too close.
2) Know your map. Knowing the drop points of where the Phantoms drop enemies or what doors they come out of leads to less surprises. Also knowing where each weapon spawns on each map, and where the health kits are is vital.
3) Get weapon sprees for more points. Each time you get one, it is a good amount of points for your team.
4) If an engineer is on the battlefield, take it out by using an overcharged Plasma Pistol, the Needler, or sticking it. Engineers give enemies overshields, even grunts. Don't worry though, they only appear on a few maps, mostly night maps.
Those are a few of my basic Firefight tips. If you want more, feel free to PM me.
