Im a junior in high school. and one day my geometry teacher came up to me and asked "do you think you and your friends would be interested in a video game club" without hesitation i said sure. it took a while for it to get of the ground but now its a weekly thing. it started small only 6 people, but now every monday were are engaged in 14 man halo lan mayhem. now it might seem like your classic lan hub hookup. but no you see i just hppened to get this crazy idea to plug our xbox's into the T1 network. so now we play with each team in a seperate room. so far the club hase encouraged a few kids with bad grades who had nothing to work for to get their grades up and attend the club. so what i think is since the schools have art club and drama club and band etc. maybe video game clubs are the answer for those kids who could care less about band or art.

please enlighten me and let me know what you think

Awesome, i'll give you some Kudos for that. Now i only need to be in a Video game club. And i suppose GameStop card memeber doesnt count.

That's an awesome idea. I just wish I didn't live in the boonies (one person other than myself owns an Xbox in this town) and could do things like that. A friend and I tried playing 8-player Halo, but we didn't have a hub.

i think most of the kudos belong to my geometry teacher, and we still have big plans for it we trying to get more teachers involved (even a ghost recon vet) and my teacher has even spoken of field trips to st louis or kansas city for tournements
