think about it making a huge base with weapons, ammo, turrets and blockades. that would of added a lot of replay value :)

You will fear my laser face!

it would be awesome... but I think it would take some of the challenge out of it.... but I would like my shotgun on a few maps...

Im not a noob, its Pro Noob :D

No.. not really. that would remove the point of firefight, just barricading the enemy out and you in.. you would see thousands of people with stupidly high round numbers.. sort of just ruins the whole aspect of firefight..

Forging firefight maps=people putting themselves in inpenetrable bases=People getting 4 people and going in on heroic=Endure acheivment way too easy=Recon not even a little special=EVERYONE using the armor=recon noobish=lots of hate for me=Halo boring. Forging firefight maps is the stupidist idea I've heard since jewelry go die in a hole.

That would be awsome! It would not be hard to exempt people from gaining an achievement. Just like they exempted scores that used choppers, same concept.

Tell me it wouldent be awsome to set up a maze with enemy AI running around. It would be wicked!! Running through a maze and then two hunters round the corner with wraith shots constantly firing into the walls. It would be amazing fun.

You guys are under-estimating how much fun this would be.

Imagine forging a room of those sheild wall things with swords in them you can go 300 on their covenant asses!

No wonder the Covenant lost as soon as the Elites came over to our side. After that, we had all the re-spawning troops, and they were stuck with the soldiers who only could die once. Kind of a crappy decision on their part.

They should have something that disables achievements for forged firefight maps to prevent noobishness and easy achievement unlocks. Or they can just create a sandbox-style empty map that you can forge that doesn't count for achievements, but gives you forging abilities.

Other than that, it is a great idea. Aside from normal forge stuff, you should also be able to forge phantom drop points for infantry & ground vehicles, and banshee entering points.
