About the esrb rating i was wondering myself whether a game has to be fully done before it can be rated, so i went to the esrb website to officially answer my question. The answer is No ... on the website esrb just says that to rate a game the publishers have to fillout a questionare and send along with that footage of the most extreme game play. So just because H2 has been rated, does not necessarily mean that the game is done. It just means that the game is nearing completion, just like some of the bungie news updates have already stated. Don't get me wrong i'd like for Halo2 to be done, but having a secret release, is not only unwise but will cost companies huges losses of money.... Supply and demand, there just wont be enough copies without the option of the game being reserved

Dude they say that but most companies wait till the finish cause what if the most extreme and bloody part of the game is not even done or if they change their mind later working on the game

Well Bungie isn't most companys, and no, most companys do not wait. I have no clue where you got that idea, but companys try to get there game rated ASAP so they can put it in advertisments.

trigger is right, go check out esrb.com and read up on it. What i take from it is that beta is almost over, and from the updates it looks to be finishing up. So if bungie is finishing up with beta and they have the next couple months to work all the little things out, personally i think it will make the game better. With every theory that has come out this week, not one can be prooved (which makes them just theories). November 9th is the logical release.

The ESRB rating is a big hint there, because several microsoft employees told me that the game is done when the rating is given. I also called ESRB and they said the same thing. Somehow i think the OFFICIAL word is a little more important than your yacking about how this is not true. Sorry.
Oh. And they monkeys are cool.

Right on, a company can send in game footage any time they want. Although they would get a rating, they would have to go back later with the final game, and get it rated again.
And a game can still go on advertisement even without an ESRB rating, it would just be rated RP (rating pending).

Right, but it sounds better when you have a rating.

"how come all the people with those differnt "monkey with hat" icons are always -blam!-es.. gees.. it makes me wonder.. are they all is a -blam!- squad? "

Whats up with all those people using the same icons and just flaming. God, are they all a squad? Could it be that we are somewhat intelligant, and don't really take the time to pick out of the lame avatars (we should be able to upload) . Plus, the monkeys are dudes.

The only good avatars are the simple ones, the other ones are sort of lame.

You mean the same people who told use www.ilovebees.com has nothing to do with Microsoft and Bungie, and will tell us nothing about it. The problem with customer support is that they are often wrong. I called them when I had trouble signing up for live. This stupid girl at the other end had me going through hoops, and then I just did what I thought, and BINGO, welcome to live.
