I'm having a hard time trying to find any information on uploading video from the games I played up to the Bungie.net file share. Is there a page with a how-to on uploading?

Go into theater and record a clip. Save it and go to your File Share (in-game). Select a slot to put the video in and that's it.

(I've never used it, but that is my understanding. Sorry if it's vague)

Just a note that you cannot save film clips in ODST - you can only upload the entire film to your file share. Make sure you have enough space if you decide to upload a Firefight film - a mission where you get to set 5 is probably going to be about 20 MB.

When I do that I get an error like... you do not have an item of that type.

Once you play a firefight or campaign mission, the film is temporarily stored in the "Recent Films" cache in the Theater lobby. You have to navigate to "Recent Films", then press X to save the film to your console's hard drive. Once you do this, you can upload the saved film to your file share - you cannot upload recent films to your file share.

The Recent Films cache tends to clear itself when you go back to the Xbox Dashboard, so make sure you save the film before you do that.
