Yes, I am a hypocrite, and I'm sorry. I really do mean well, but I'm not running on all cylinders.
Everytime someone buys a copy of Halo 2 Vista, a puppy dies.
Most single player maps have to be started with the map_name command in the console. You need to run the game with:
-console
or in developer mode from the start menu shortcut. So if you want to play b10.map, start the game, and at the menu hit ~ and type:
map_name b10
Some maps are just buggy and can't be played. One multiplayer map I love is called Portent. If anyone is running the game in fixed-function graphics mode (IE, bad graphics hardware), the game will crash while playing that map. It sucks, but I don't know a way around it.
