"Church wait"-Caboose
"Wait? I can't wait I'm moving on my own. I realize that doesn't make sense when I say it out loud. Hey look I figured out how to stop"-Church
"Wow you figured out how to not move your a genious"-Tucker
"Oh check this out I can go backwards to! Shuup"--Church
"Oh well no your just bragging"-Tucker

I think the first time I saw them would have been much better if guilty spark would have just shut up.

"Usually the good Lord works in mysterious ways, but not today! This here is 66 tons of straight up, HE-spewing, dee-vine intervention. If God is love, then you can call me cupid!" -Sgt. Johnson

I was pretty freaked out because according to my brother they couldn't die and I'm not too fond of enemies that don't die...and I like never played that level again...ever...

OP - You're a dumbass with the reading comprehension skills of a second grader.

Can someone tell me what's wrong with these two, this made me LOL hard.

I played Halo: CE when I was 13 for the first time. When I saw it, I was freaked out because I was playing on Legendary and at night.

At first I didn't mind them, then level after level they creeped me out more and more until the second last level then they where really creepy.... but still they where awesome. I think they where better back in C.E. rather than in H3 campaign.

Best moment of my life ^.^
Rammstein backstage - Big day out 2011

I was a little confused as to what the hell was going on then just started shooting everything that approached me. I was too young to understand the story.

It's a metaphor for the 07s' lack of identity. too old to be newfag, yet too new to be oldfag, we wander b.net in search of a home, forever trying to be something we are not.

Social Infection

I shot it with a shotgun and then pissed my pants for the rest of the game.

Holy @#$&! alien space zombies!

"I didn't sign up for this!"

They caught me off guard because they were the last thing I was expecting from the game, and I have to admit I was creeped out trying to navigate through the maze of the level with flood noises and fleshy zombies jumping out of every corner. 343 Guilty Spark is my favorite level for the impact it had on me, though. And the creepy swamp is always awesome, too.

Was such a great moment (story and build up aside), because you knew shooting a ton was the answer, but, it became too much too quickly. Was what made CE so great. Even before the combat forms came in, it was a strange and self aware sequence that made you wonder what was up, and "Am I doing the right thing ?"

betcha I'll stick it!

I was scared I was only seven when I was playing.

I'm 23, I have a house, dog, girlfriend, job and I have no interest in any fanboyism so if you're thinking about sending me a childish PM, don't be surprised when I don't call back.

Yeah the way they were introduced definitely had an effect on me.

"Civilized men are more discourteous than savages because they know they can be impolite without having their skulls split, as a general thing"

And I ran, I ran so far away...until the end of the level haha. I was pretty scared, I stopped playing Halo for like three days. But then I got back on.

you are a good translator
Idiot can be a hard language to learn, but once you get it down, everything becomes so clear! The whole world will make sense to you.

I knew something was up. No Humans or Elites, blood and corpses everywhere. Then came Jenkin's recording and I was legitimately creeped out. The came the hordes of disfigured people and infection forms with Marty's terrifying flood theme. I was scared out of my 10 year old mind.

That level had the best atmosphere of any game. It was perfect, the foggy swamp, the music, everything.

Pioneer and Enthusiast for Halo 3.

It was very very creepy.
I was alone, and about 6 years of age when I first experienced it. It was about 4 AM, and was working on beating the game. I got real scared, this never discouraged me though. I finished the game by 7 AM.

Maybe I will never be
All the things that I wanna be
But now is not the time to cry
Now's the time to find out why
I think you're the same as me
We see things they'll never see
You and I are gonna live forever

"What the hell?!?"

  • 05.02.2010 6:05 AM PDT

The Flood scared the -blam!- out of me when I first played that level.

It was 1AM, creepy music was playing, and the only mission objective; "Escape!"
