haha, everyone here that posted was like 13 or younger playing an M rated game haha, i find that hilarious. I was 10 or something.

but i was freaked out, cause i was playing with my older brother, and he skipped all the cutsceens, so all of a sudden i was outside the door fighting Covies, then the next thing i knew was Flood popcorn was coming at me. i was freaked out during the library and 343, especially the end run in 343.

Never got shook up and stopped playing though. Now i just remember the feeling i had when i play and i love it. 343 is prolly one of my favorite Halo levels (of all the Halo's)

I remember my friend telling me about Halo when he bought his Xbox. He never told me much about the story but it was fun an awesome killing elites. He never mentioned the flood so my first encounter was a flood elite jumping across the room and attacking me while I was screaming. Needless to saw I hate the flood :)

S.H.I.T happens, your face for example

i remember it perfectly, it was co-op with my friend (i was 12 he was 11) so we were both young and really bad at the game (we really stuggled on normal) and we had to skip teh cut-scene to pause the game and get dinner (so we didnt know what we were up against) and when we got back on our motion trackers was a single massive red dot
so we thought there were hunters and took cover behind the pillars, then the flood came through and this is what i remember
me " what the -blam!- are thise things?"
james "you tell me its your game!"

we them spent 2 hours getting lost in the level, desperatly conserving ammo, covering each other and holding them off (as i said back then we were both crap)

  • 05.03.2010 1:41 PM PDT

im pretty sure it went something like "Oh -BLAM- what is this crap I have to kill now" lol

Wanna know why my username is so q.ueer? Cuz I was 17 when I made it. And I was a q.ueer at 17. Everyone is.

Two things.

1.)Wild Recon. Check it out.

2.) ODST 4th Battalion. Join it. Love it. Live it.

I pissed my pants, then screamed WHAT THE -blam!- IS THAT?!?!?! and fired my AR non-stop (whilst screaming).

No joke.

I couldn't sleep that night.

Infection Forms are tiny, I remember thinking, are these things dangerous?

I call infection forms 'popcorn kids'

I call them "Squidies", because the original models really really reminded me of octopi at the time. :)

I was scared at first but as the wave of emotion of the Flood attack washed over me something inside turned cold and although I had been effectively killing Covenent for a long time, a new steel was forged within me...I knew that to get out alive I had to kill every last one of these S.O.B's. I did it, stole the index from the library and blew up the ring world known as Halo, but I knew this wasn't the end...it was only just beginning.

pretty much this

Have you ever seen a ten year-old be ambushed by mutoid zombies in a ghost-town facility at twelve p.m.?

I screamed, jumped to the xbox and turned it off. I didn't play Halo until the following Christmas.

Something similar to this but it was on my computer. Then I borrowed my grandpas xbox bought halo 2 and then when I saw the flood again gave it back to him. Didn't play halo 2 again till last summer when I got a 360.

I read the book before playing the game so from the moment echo 419 dropped us off I was a nervous wreck and panicked pretty badly before even encountering the flood.

The flood in the first halo were something to be feared, they've become sort of a joke now...

i was 7yrs old when i first played Halo CE. I played with my uncle for a while at his house because i didn't have a xbox at the time. My uncle went to pick up the phone durring the mission 343 gulity spark i killed the covies left and right and didn't think for a second y they were scared. (i wanted to play as a grunt so i never killed them) i thought they were scared of me. then I got to pvt Jenkins video. When the video ended i was sweating and actually pissed in my pants O.O Then i heard the scary noise of a door blowing up with the flood ( i called them Sushi :D ) started crying Uncle Uncle help me while tears flooded my eyes. But i reverted to last checkpoint and played it together i was so scared i slept in my parents bed untill i was 13. IKR? weird but i always thought they were real and were gunna try and eat me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Halo:CE is the best.

They were a scary bunch in halo. even with the music it made them even more horrific.
I hated the sounds they made in a good way. Pretty scary.

Play. Forge. Film.

I was all like "Finally!! A tough enemy!" THen all the little guys came out and it was easy. Not the best intro to them. I would have made them more mean.

  • 05.11.2010 4:36 PM PDT

It was 10:00 at night, just got done defeating covenant when...THEY came, the way I defeted them was run as fast as I could to the xbox, press the off buton over and over, and hope tommarow would be a better day.

So you went to the trouble of clicking on my profile, either to send a group invite or hate message, or to check my Halo stats and call me a BK. I like Peanut Butter Waffles.

They weren't in the instruction manual!

May 11 will be known as Halo 2 Day for me from now on.

Well Ive been in the Navy since June 25, 2009 and its a fun job right now.

Just saw one at first and was like "You lost lil buddy?" and then... I was like well time to just slip past these guys and run to each checkpoint with as little fighting as possible and thats How I beat that level for a long time, just run.
