A demo's supposed to show off the game. People will get the wrong impression if you cant kill anyone.

I think proximity concering voices would be cool. Good idea. But I hope if there is a demo, it's playable.

If you want to see how proximity taunting works, you can if you have Rainbow 6 3 and play the sharpshooter mode in it.

Yes, you can. In fact, you won't even need a disk to do it!

Bungie's Official Proximity Voice Demo

Setup is simple. You will need:

One(1) XBox
One(1) Subscription to XBox Live
One(1) XBox Live Voice Communication Headset

Instructions:

1. Turn on your XBox. The best time to do this is while a family member is in the kitchen, say, doing dishes.
2. Access your XBox Live Profile.
3. Unplug your XBox Live Voice Communication Headset from the adapter module plugged into your XBox gamepad.
4. Walk into your bedroom. Shut the door.
5. In a medium-level conversational volume voice, ask the person in the kitchen for a glass of water.

You may notice that no glass of water comes. Quietly check on the family member in the kitchen. Clearly, they did not hear you!

Instructions, Part 2.

6. Make completely sure that the family member in the kitchen is not aware of you, or at least has not bothered to take notice of you.
7. ???
8. Approach them quietly.
9. In the loudest voice you can muster, ask politely for a glass of water.

Notice the instant reaction? That's Bungie's proximity voice at work. The closer you get to another person, the more clearly they'll be able to hear you. Incredible feature, and tons of fun for the whole family!

Yeah, it would be kinda dumb not to be able to shoot in the game....just run around and talk.
